ABOUT US

We knew there were lots of great programs and organizations that were being provided for our children locally,
but we just weren't always sure how to find them.

The idea for this network came from not only from our family, but others wondering how to get involved
in our community events and activities.

“Where do we find out about…?, was the usual start to the question.

The more we asked, and discussed with others, we discovered that other parents were wondering the same thing.
There are so many awesome activities around our area,
 that we wanted to create a one-stop,
online network of
"Places To Play"
for for kids and families.

In our area, there are so many wonderful activities
for families with children to get active and involved in!

This site is designed to bring all of these together to create a resource for active and involved kids and parents.
It hopefully will become an accumulation of all the great opportunities
that our area has to offer our children,
at your fingertips.

My husband and I grew up around small, rural towns. Also, we have backgrounds in recreation, kinesiology, business and education. We understand the important role that physical activity, the use and development of our minds and the need to be rooted in a community had on our most important resource - our children.
This site aspires to assist parents find these for their children.
